Last time I checked 5 sec was faster than 5.7. Ever race a 335i with 'only' 300hp?

Default it's heavier than a GTO and has less power and torque.
So I doubt it would beat a RS4.

Default We tested an RS4 at 4.3 0-60 with a 5500rpm dump. But we're not talking a stop-light race here...
I'm just saying that the the GTO/G8s have strong motors that pull well considering their heft. They will lose to the RS4 regardless of race, but that doesn't mean they're not quick in their own right, and could definitely catch a napping RS4 driver by surprise, at least for a little while.

Default I actually like that car....would like it a lot better in Holden trim.
the Pontiac front end looks like ***....Holden Commodore is much better.

Default more of an S4 competitor (for $25k less).
but the G8 GXP should keep up with the RS4, when it comes next year. 402hp and 402ft-lbs...and under $40k.

Agreed - much better. Have you seen pics of the W427 w/the 7.0L ZO6 motor? Sound is amazing.
