Why do you want the yellow look?

Default Question - why do you have a non-ti grill insert piece on a ti-package car?

Doesn't look right. Other than that, the car looks great!

Yes, the Titanium filler would look far better.

yellow is lower on the light spectrum and in true fog conditions does not reflect as easily.

I would love to do the yellow on my fogs; I think it would look cool on Ibis.

Default Re: I am surprised, but I like the blue

Yeah, it came out better than I expected. But then again, it is very color specific. For example these blues will look totally different on a Misano car vs. the Sprint.

The fog inserts are really cheap, $20 or so if I recall, maybe even less and are even easier to insall as there are no curves. I basically bought the set as an experiment, hence the two different colors. I may later switch to blue for the fogs, but for now I like it

Default Wrong

It is not blue like the rice burners you see around that use high Kelvin bulbs, in fact the difference vs. is not even discernable. The color is really light (I believe Lamin-X has a darker blue), it just gives a slight blue-ish hue in sunlight, otherwise hard to tell there are even there.

Default Re: I was more interested in the fogs, since I tried yellow bulbs but they didn't look yellow at nig

The fogs are definitely yellow, no doubt about it. In fact one of the service guys at a Porsche dealer came to me to ask me (they install the Lamin-X for customers just as they do the 3M clear bras), he had the same setup on his GTI, and said that once he added yellow bulbs that made even more of a difference. So if you are looking for true yellow, that should work for you.

The yellow is a softer tone and for now I like it enough to keep it. I even like the 'come home' feature as the garage is illuminated in soft yellow. Reminds me of the WRC rally cars LOL

Yellow is shown to be the better choice for fog lights, as was mentioned. Intersting how the old IS300 came with yellow fogs stock, even though it seems yellow is not officially DOT approved in the US. Back in the days, it seems that all French cars came standard with yellow fogs.
