so, they're doing what they did with the 3.2 v6 when they turbo'd it...changing it to a 3.0 for a little more strength between cyls. and now the v8, 4.2 to 4.0.
I'd like to see them come out with some all new engines instead. But such has never been the VAG way.

and that will benefit the RS4 and S4 to be sure...although it will be somewhat diluted in the 2 performance variants, which are significantly heavier anyway. What would be really nice would be a 3500 lb RS4.

the only RS model that they have announced is the RS6 (which is starting production). In a year or so, we'll bbe notified of the next RS model!
