Elevens from M5 board right? I just traded in my 540, and picked up an RS.

I'd put money down on the fact that all my cars always ran smoother, and pulled harder after a wash, and wax as well.

Correct.

Below is a list of Audi approved oils.

From what I've read RLI seems to be the best. However it's not approved by Audi. Needless to say my car won't see any untill my warrenty is up

There have been a few that have done the carbon cleaning that use RLI and they have found that RLI seems to cause more carbon than many other oils.

I use Mobil 1 at the Dealer.

I'm surprised to hear that, and hadn't seen that in my searches. I thought the RLI was formulated to combat this buildup. Where was that posted?

John - your dealer puts in a non-approved oil? Or is you car out of warranty?

The doc says the oils on the list meet minimum Audi quality standards. It also says, "Please refer to the specific Vehicle Owner’s Manual, published Technical Service Bulletins and Fluid Capacity Charts to select the appropriate oil required for each Audi vehicle.".

So the RS4 requires 502.00 5W-40. That oil in Mobile 1 brand is not on the list. Am I just being a total doofus, or am I missing something here?
