hello everyone,
i am a owner of a 2007 Audi RS4 with about 33,000 mile. A gift to myself after coming back from iraq. the car is great and fun to drive. i just recently replaced the rotors and break pads on it. seemed like it was a frequent problem with RS4 owners. thankfully my dealer was cool enough to cover the first $1000 on the break job,i ended up just paying about $500 out of pocket. just recently though i have been hearing a knocking sound when ever i turn the steering wheel slightly, but it only happens when i am stationary or when i slowly roll over bumps. from what i hear it seems like the sound is coming from under the steering wheel in the engine compartment. i think it may be the pitman arm or bushing. any suggestions will be very helpful. thank you guys for your time.

What part of the country are you in?
There's plenty of parts to go bad in the suspension on an Audi. Control arms and tie rod ends seem to be common problem areas.
