OK guys,
ANyone out there do a premiere purchase?? I've been considering..the reason why?? Turning the car in in three years...I purchased m B7 S4 a year ago, thought I would have it for 5 or so, when all of a sudden the folks are ranting about the RS4, I drive one, then gotta have it. ANyone can go into the details of the premiere purchase vs the lease..I know there may be a benefit in terms of the sales tax I paid on the S4.....I can tell you now as I unload the S4, the Audis do not hold their value well...thanks......

Big difference is that in a PP, the car is titled in the ownwers name and in a lease it tis titled in the name of the leasing co. Leasing is not allowed in the state of NY. There could be slight finacial advantages in certain states. In PA there is a 9% tax on leases, but only a 6% tax on purchases. Audi Finacial Services includes GAP insurance on their leases but it was $12/ month extra on a PP. (At least that was the situation when I leased in 03)

with a premier purchase.....I am on schedule to turn the car in in three years....I'll know how much i am paying, and not at the mercy of Audi and their trade values.....I thought I'd keep the B7 S4 for a while, and am sure in three years I may see something else I like even more than the RS4
