The day I picked it up I noticed that the Bose emblem was missing from the passenger front doors speaker grille. I told the dealership I wanted it taken care of and they ordered me a new emblem. Problem was that it came as a package (grille and emblem). Then the tech didn't know what he was doing and when removing the door panel (this was needed to replace the speaker grille) he scratched up my entire door and speaker grille area (looked like he used a screwdriver to try and pry it first). He could have just popped off the Bose emblem and stuck it on the grille with glue or something.
So, be careful if you have the dealership take care of it, tell them you just want the Bose emblem put back on and don't want anything removed from the car in the process.
Good Luck

and that new Alpine w/Blackbird nav head unit. I must say...night and day difference in sound quality. In his case the stock GM nav/head unit was a bad match for the speakers, as the Alpine cleaned up the signal quality by leaps and bounds.
I'm not sure if our sound system's limitation is the head unit, or the speakers, or both. Has anyone swapped out the head unit and noticed better sound from the stock speakers?
