Default The B7 RS4 diff casing is different, they have to take it apart to see if it'll fit

I'll know in a few months, when they have a spare rs4 to take apart...

Default I agree with you on a performnace car like the S4 and RS4 it should be standard and...

At minimum be an option on the A4 too.

As for repacking the LSD, I don't know. It's been in the car exactly 1 year now and it's still working fine. STaSIS tells me they can do at least two seasons of racing before they rebuild their racing car's units. So for street use and occasional track use I suspect it will last a while. Don't forget it's an improve version of the P944 LSD. The OEM unit had 2 pucks and this one as four pucks.

With the LSD in place the car drives the way it should... more like a BMW or RWD car.
I think Audi may be afraid that on wet or on very slippery roads people may loose control of their cars by oversteering them. I say BS, let them get use to the slippery road conditions with an LSD and they will be happier than pigs in ****. Besides the darn ESP will intervene to stop the oversteer situation.
