It shows:
B8-A4 - production start Sept 2007 (Ingolstadt, Changchun, Vogosca)
B8-A4 Avant - production start March 2008 (Ingolstadt, Changchun)
A4 Facelift - Production start Jan 2012 (Ingolstadt, Changchun)
At Neckarslum, it shows the following production dates:
Sept 2007 - C6 RS6
Sept 2008 - R8-V10
Feb 2009 - RS5
March 2009 - R8 Targa
June 2009 - A7 Coupe
August 2009 - TT-RS
June 2010 - D4-A8
Jan 2011 - A7 Cab
Jan 2011 - C7-A6
May 2011 - C7-A6 Avant
It looks to me like RS cars are scheduled through 2009, so a B8 RS4 would have to go into production late 2010/early 2011, right before the facelift in 2012.

TT-S seems to be an exception. Even in the Annual reports S-cars are not listed separately from A-cars, whereas R and RS are.
I'd love to see a B8 RS4, much more than an RS5, since I like the convenience of 4 doors.

Actually the thought of getting an 08 M3 has crossed my mind. But I can't stand the thought of paying a premum over msrp.
