Not trying to insult, I apoligize if I did. Very frustrating to explain something to someone who
has one set reasoning for why people do things and not looking at the others who might not have that intent.

Fair enough..maybe not all do it for those reasons..but that would be a vast minority...
and I think you know that as well. You can't possibly be blind to all the S4 visual upgrades that the A4 boards are constanty talking about and showing off in pics. I was there, I know.

Oh, I don't doubt it at all. I've seen it and whatever makes them happy, good for them. I'm just
defending myself because I am part of that vast minority. I don't have S4 grilles, mirror caps, bumpers, etc. I just have a few minor visual mods, none of which are S4 parts (if you want to call the RS4 reps but wheels are such a common mod today...) that upgrade the exterior appearance of my ride and set it different than all the other A4s in the Boston area.

I admit I'm being a jerk about it...but it really is a pet peave with me...
your A4 obviously is tastefully done, your mods listed are very impressive, and I shouldn't have lumped you in with the posers. I apologize.

Don't worry about it :) I understand where you're coming from, with people buying
S4 parts and slapping them onto an A4. Just let them be and enjoy your ride =D

I owned an 05 A4 1.8T. The turbo factor helps at low end, has good punch...
I liked the car...not fast, but definitely quick. It was a good car that got the job done if revs were kept up. And boy did I like the gas mileage...used to average 24-25 mixed driving.
