RS4 Owners who have previously owned BMW M Coupes

My RS4 is fortunate to enough to share the garage with a '00 M Coupe and '95 911 (also mentioned in this thread).
I always describe the RS4 as pretty much the best all-around car i've ever driven. But the coupe always puts a giant smile on my face in the twisties, and is a great conversation starter.

Pics of Artic White RS4
Please post some as my car is Ibis White.
Nice iForged wheels on your MCoupe. I had iForged Imolas on my that were colour coded to the car.
Should have kept my 01 S54 M Coupe. Loved that car and with an RS4 in the stable, it would be the perfect cottage getaway car.

thanks ryan. it is a great car, i've thought about getting rid of it a few times but always stop myself before i make the mistake.
i'll try to get some shots of the RS4 up this weekend. i only have dark sunset shots on hand.

I know
...for some reason that car took a lot longer than others to let go.

I purchased my RS4 in April and sold my '02 e46 M3 two weeks later (Steel grey on titanium int., 19" LMs, Rogue El Diablo, etc.). The "boss" (and checking acct) wouldn't allow me to keep both. I had looong lusted after the RS4 and still can't reconcile the fact that it is in my garage waiting for me each morning when I get up. Plans call for KW V3s and a full Milltek exhaust. That said, I miss my M a great deal and will absolutely own one again...
An M coupe with an S54 will also join my fleet one day...always loved it (it's quirky a bit like the sixties Ferrari "breadvan" GTOs, another car people either love or hate)

first post, so be gentle.
recently bought my 07 rs4, in misano with black optics...has sport suspension plus, and buckets, and its a fair piece of kit!
have owned c c5 rs6 before, which i like and multiple amgs and m's, including 1 x e39 M5 (green!), 2 x e46 m3 (01 in carbon black and an 03 in estoril) also had an e60 M5 when they first came out in saphire and had a brief fling with an e46 CSL ( csl's rock, should never had sold it)
have to say, as a complete package, the rs4 is probably the best of the lot, fact, practical, well built, not excessive on the juice and cool to boot.
e60 M5 was fast but bland day to day, and ate juice..combined with its puny tank, it was too much of a compromise and had to go...
best M car i had would have been my 01 e46. still quite new at the time, it was a revelation to own, and i still remember the feeling of control i had driving it, which i didnt have with the e39..it felt lythe, nimble and utterly controlable..
not the worlds biggest problem eh!
