you're just tapping the shifter up or down, or the paddles. Anyone who can't handle that probably shouldn't be behind the wheel at all. Every car make, except I believe Ford, offers manual shift AT's.

and it has clutches, but it's missing a 3rd pedal and it's missing the driver interaction of throttle and stick.

So warranty depts will be rejoicing.
But with 8 cars and only 2 of them autos (the truck and the family loaner), I'm a dedicated stick person and won't consider a car w/o one. I'm never going to be a Schumacher, which means a hundredth or thousandth of a second here and there isn't going to matter - so I might as well wring every bit of enjoyment out each drive as I can;-)

In the hands of 99% of drivers, even good ones, the RS4 can be driven hard with a far greater degree of safety and control than the M3. This is especially true on the street where 99% of drivers will do 99% of their driving in either of these cars. Throw in a little rain, cold pavement, or snow and the game is over.

with pulling both paddles in both Ferrari and Lambo so as to coast to a stop. It would be nice to have that option.
