since enough people have asked. Before doing this project you need to get your hands on some used b6/b7 a4 front manual seats. This will serve as the donor for the oem-look bracket/rails. My upholstry guy charge $500 to saw the frame and do welding work to accomadate the sportster cs seats. The recaro sportster seats can be bought anywhere on the net but I went through Thatcher at speedware motorsports. Choose the cheapest non-leather set you can get. Each retail for $1299 but he gave them to me for $1150. The next portion was the seat cover by Michel Angelo's in Houston, TX. Probably the best upholsterer in town. The cost of new seat covers was $1800 + $180 for the logos. Overall it took about 3 weeks to one month for the work to be finished. what kind of adjustments come with the Sportster CS. Can the seat back incline/decline? Are there any electrically powered adjustments?
