how did he/you accomplish this?

Ive tried searching on the other forum that they keep talking about, but cant really find any information that I can understand.

basically, what do I need to buy, and who do i need to talk to to get stuff installed and working properly?

Because it's complicated (SW hacks + VAG-COM)

... and if you can't be bothered to search for it you don't really want it bad enough!

RS4 does NOT have MMI, it has RNS-E - fixes for MMI DON'T work on RNS-E
