I guess this was towards me.

I came from 2 different Subarus. WRX and STi and a 335xi.
I was really trying to get out of the modifying more (well a never ending cycle in the Subis). I drove a RS4 then an S4 and 335xi. I liked the RS4 then the S4 and last the 335xi. I ended up getting a 335xi 6sp man and believe it or not although it was a wonderful car it never quite felt right. So I decided to take the hit and move to the RS4. Looking around I noticed the pricing for the RS4's and I was like I must be nuts not to get one and be done with it. So I did. At about $14k less than the 07 I test drove last January (0f 2008)
I even looked at a S60R before I got the STi and the dealership folks were tools. They never took me seriously so I was well I will give me 40 something grand to someone else.
Cheers
Nick
PS woohoo my edit button is back on

to be honest this is greatly overpriced. Color does not warrant such a premium.
You can easily get an 08 for that kind of money.
Hell I can sell you mine (07, just turned 15k miles) for a few thousand less

I've been looking at prices for rs4s recently and they are down in the 40k-50k range. This is my dream car. My absolute dream car. Pretty soon I may be able to afford one! I was just wondering who here has gotten a used rs4 for the lowest price? It blows my mind that someday sooner than later I may be driving one of these beautiful monsters!

I bought a CPO warrantied to 100K miles
07 with premium @ 21k miles.
for a tad under 50K. Given the leaking suspension, etc that plague the car, I didnt mind paying a tad more for the piece of mind.

The Suzuka Grey is way too expensive as listed. Sure it is a rare color, but so are RS4s in general. These days dealers are selling brand new 08 holdbacks with Ti and many times exclusive interior (Crimson Red) for mid 50s. You're buying brand new, with 4 yrs warranty and no history to fret over. And you might get cheap financing while at it. Don't go for this one unless it is discounted my another 8-10K

FWIW I believe that Suzuka was the one over @ Strong Audi a while back with the crunched front end. From what I remember, the whole front bumper and some other parts were replaced.

It's the same car.. I have pictures of it with a crunched front bumper and some other parts.
Not sure why it is not on the carfax but the front was definitely crunched and repaired.
