Default TPMS

Funny enough - this issue just came upfor the first time for me two days ago and I haven't totally solved it. The first time I added a few lbs to 2 tires (just on the low side) and the light went out. A day later the light came back and a pressure check showed all numbers the same.

UPDATE: I had the sensors checked by my tire guy and they were fine....took it to my servicing dealer and they found that the TPMS antenna was bad - that was replaced and all is well

These little TMPS sensors are pricey. $237 at the dealership to replace one this week.

Can you explain more how you did this? I too hate it and always check my pressure so find it useless.

Vag Com:

Address 17 (Instruments) -> Adaptation -> Channel 61

Subtract 512

took no longer than 20 seconds!

I like it. A lot. I even bought an extra set of wheel sensors for my winter tire/wheels. It's completely unobtrusive on my car except twice. Both times it alerted me of a puncture which prompted me to get to the tire shop before it was too late

Default Update

Took my car to the shop last week to diagnose my TPMS issue and they determined that the TPMS antenna unit needs to be replaced ($488). It's located in the rear which is why the bumper has to be removed to get at it.

Anyone have this module replaced? Best place to purchase the part?

genuineaudiparts.com is pretty cheap if you can tolerate their rude sales dept.
