Default forgive a noob, what does "tubi" actually mean? how does it differ from a non-tubi exhaust

sounds kind of like a C5 Z06 w/exhaust

Default Thanks for the Video, Convinced me to order the Tubi

Ordered today from a tubi distributor about 45 minutes from me. I know the install will be more expensive but felt more comfortable doing this way. Did they plug your valve lines when they did the install? Should have on in about a week and can't wait for a top down drive to hear it scream

Default Tubi exhaust question

JMSIV, what made you choose Tubi over Milltek or Borla?

In my research, Borla seems to be the least expensive. Milltek is the only one to offer oval tips similar to the stock RS4 tips. The Tubi sounds great, and both the Tubi and Borla are made from type 304 (or 307? not sure if I'm remembering the number correcctly nor do I understand the difference) stainless steel. The Borla is advertised as 48 pounds lighter than the standard exhaust. Is this true of the Tubi system?

One more question -- is the Tubi the same sound regardless of whether the sport button (or valve) is engaged? I'm looking forward to a non-valved system so that I can enjoy the rumble without having to engage the sport button all the time.

Final question -- do you find the Tubi too droning on longer, freeway trips?

Thanks for your patience and help
