I am.
10,000 miles - 18.2 overall average.
I don't beat it a lot, but do enjoy the HP on a daily basis. I short-shift it a lot, and routinely do 1-2-3-4-6 and often 1-2-3-6. Lots of coasting to stops, but that saves some fossil fuels for the twisties and the occasional 0-100(mph) blast.

would be nice...
I honestly don't bother to check every-time I fill up and don't mind putting whatever it burns back into it. even oil when I have a qt.
The overall avg seems to float around the 16mpg mark and my usual daily drive is ~40hwy and 11city type miles.
2'nd is good enough for a r.olling stop/stopprd when I don't want to bother shifting at a light
I dont run the rpm's over 7K until the oil warms up and don't drive the autobahn - still 16mpg even there driving conservative... is fine with me.

getting 16-18 in city and upto 21 on highway if below 100mph but if above then 12-14mpg.
Just did 650 miles trip to Toronto averaged 18 or so covered in 8hrs 10 min going over so was having fun with it.

it does way better than my 2 previous S4's (B5 and B6). If you drive it hard enough for the "silly grin effect" you won't get 18 mpg however.
