I live in Philly and was shopping a little over a year ago. There was only one in the Philly region, but it had a permanent clear bra, so I passed. There were a couple in NY and a couple in DC. I ended up snagging one of the DC cars. At least I didn't have to fly to pick it up.

Where do you live in MD? I live in North Laurel, Close to Columbia, MD....We should get up sometime...I have been looking for some local shops to get work done. I found a German shop in Jessup that will do my carbon cleaning next week. Also looking for a good Audio shop....

Hey another Houston RS4/S4 shopper here. It seems Dallas has a better market for RS4s. Better availability and the prices seem to be more in line with what you find around the nation. I think Houston sellers jack the prices up a little more due to less availability.

#1 2008 Avus Silver RS4 Ti pkg, premium pkg, silver interior
it's in Montana...which is far...but it's an 08, looks to be in great shape, and has only 20,000 miles on it. the seller is a lawyer in a small town up there (John Velk and the number on the ad is his law office which I verified a few different ways), and he's asking $42,000 for his car, a mint Avus with Ti package.
#2 2008 Phantom Black RS4 premium pkg, black interior with CFThis is an 08 with a month of warranty left at a Mercedes dealer in Chicago. They will take $40,000 flat for that car I'm sure. They had it on at 45, then 43 and now 41-42. They offered it to me at 43 when they had it at 45...then they offered to take 42 when I offered them 40.
There's also a Sprint Blue 2008 in the Chicago area again with 40,000 miles or so, and again asking $40,000. They'll take high 30s I'm sure...that car has been for sale for a month. Can't find it online though.
Everything else (on cars.com and autotrader) is either too many miles, or too much money.

Oh by the way...those of you in the market for a RS4....buy it from Carmax!! I bought mine there 3 weeks ago...and I was able to get them to pay for the carbon clean. I even found a local german shop to do the work....The bill came to $899..and carmax paid for every penny under their 30 day warranty!!! This is so Awesome!! The car drives so smooth now!! I love it! I haven't even touched the extended 100,000 mile warranty yet! and the guy who had the car before me was on a corporate lease so they bought the Audicare which included all maintenance at the stealership up to 45k miles. So I still have one sched maintenance left for FREE!!!! I also have all the records from the service he had done at the stealership..he babied this car!!! I'm so glad carmax took good care of me!! Currently if you go to Carmax.com and just type in RS4 into the search field, you will see 2 RS4's one is like a light gray and the other was a black....both have about 38k miles....Have fun!!
