it's in Montana...which is far...but it's an 08, looks to be in great shape, and has only 20,000 miles on it. the seller is a lawyer in a small town up there (John Velk and the number on the ad is his law office which I verified a few different ways), and he's asking $42,000 for his car, a mint Avus with Ti package.

it does look beautiful and if it was straight I would buy it for that price especially if there is even a day on the warranty.

this dealer has been trying to sell to me for days for 39.9K but something scares me about the carfax it seems like it went in for service a lot:


#2 2008 Phantom Black RS4 premium pkg, black interior with CFThis is an 08 with a month of warranty left at a Mercedes dealer in Chicago. They will take $40,000 flat for that car I'm sure. They had it on at 45, then 43 and now 41-42. They offered it to me at 43 when they had it at 45...then they offered to take 42 when I offered them 40.

Thanks bro! I like your color too! It's funny cuz it took me awhile to settle for the sprint blue, but i felt like it was meant to be since all the other RS4's I was looking at sold...this was the last one and the price was right at $43k...the other ones I was looking at were asking like $46k...its funny cuz the color get's so much attention when I'm driving....ppl literally pull up next to me and give me the nod...or speed to catch up with me and just pause and glance at the car like they've never seen it before! Part of me really wanted a subtle color as I may use this car for work one day....but I said F*** it! You only live once and this is a very Rare car...so mite as well have a cool color..The color you have was my original choice...so I have love for your car too...who knows maybe one day I'll get over the excitement of my young 30's and paint it black or something more solid. But for now I'm having fun! LOL

Very cool! The job im hoping for may not happen until first of the year...They told me to hold out to middle of October and they may know more then. But my dad lives in one of the philly suburbs so I come up all the time....and I come for work now anyway..I think my girlfriend and I are gonna drive up next weekend (Oct 7-9). She's never been to Philly and wants to see it...and my dad hasn't seen my car yet...so we can deftly get together if u like..I just had my carbon cleaned this week...and I'm gonna do the aux input into the head unit for my iPhone on Friday...its pretty cool that the new Nav disc lets you set up the option..and I heard u can turn off the seatbelt beeping and set the key fob to let down the windows from the VAGcom screens as well...so I'll be doing that on Friday...hit me up whenever...my cell is 404-227-2351

That black one sounds good!! But yeah I would deftly check the carfax...and also you can take the VIN to the Audi dealer and they can give you the service history..mine *luckily* had AudiCare so all of the service and recalls were all done at the dealer and documented! and mine even had the 45k service left on it for Free! So ill be getting that $3-400 service done when the time comes for free!! The car looks really good in black as well!

You mention that when you bought your car at carmax that you go a 6 yr 100k warranty?

Did that cost extra or was that included in the price of your car?

Yeah I bought the extended 100k mile warranty it was about $3000 added onto the car....but it is definitely worth it! It has zero deductible and it includes loaner car, towing etc. All I do is bring it to any carmax in the country and they will transfer it to the local Audi dealer to do the work....or I have the choice of taking it straight to the Audi dealer myself and just pay a $50 deductible...I would not have this car w/o the extended warranty! Audi parts are very expensive! This mechanic that did my carbon clean was telling me the other day that just the "carbon fiber plastic RS cover" in the engine compartment is $500 it has NO purpose at all...its just a name plate! So I don't wanna fool with these Audi parts!

it's simple...it's in Montana. There are probably 3 RS4s in all of Montana...and that guy is a good 1000 miles from any major city in the US. Someone from Calgary will eventually buy that car, as you can't get a mint RS4 for less than $50,000 in Alberta.

thats a fking spanking good deal. On my car it was $4000 to add an extra year to the Audi warranty. Yes...one year!
