I want to thank everyone who replied to my original posting on hardwiring a V-1. I ordered the hardwire kit from Valentine 1's website. I then purchased a fuse tab from Radio Shack (as recommended). I ran the unit wire along the A pliar and front windshield- down into the fuse box (2 minute job). Then attached the black power wire to a screw in the fuse box area to serve as a ground. I connected the red power wire to fuse tab on the 15 amp fuse in positon 31. Place the fuse tab on the right hand side of the fuse. The fuse in position 31 is a "switched" power fuse so the unit switches on and off with the ignition.

I hope this information helps others.
