Default so you're saying $20 tip and I can still expect the occasional douche to joyride my car.

thanks, but I think I'll stick to letting you park my truck. you can drive it off a cliff for all I care.

Default LOL, Bob!

that thing read like an 'ode to the vaunted valet. Here's how to soothe and massage them just right so they won't screw you. What for They get my middle finger most of ther time. I rate them just above skateboarders.

Default No, $20 means park my car in front of the restaurant/venue I'm going to and

DO NOT MOVE IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Get the tip out of the way in advance to ensure he knows exactly what you want.

Default I have some "safe" spots I leave my car in SF, and then cab it. Way back when I first got

the Alfa, I was warned that reverse gear was straight cut with no synchro, and so if the gearbox would not go into reverse, simply go forward a fraction of an inch, and it will then engage reverse. I handed it off to a fellow with this warning, along with showing him the window switch location and hand brake. I picked up the car and did not think to check reverse. The next time I reversed the car, there was this wha-wha-wha sound of chipped gearbox teeth. Since then, never again.

Default I'm beginning to wonder if you HAVE ever used a valet...

curb a wheel? You mean like valet service for the street? Maybe you've just been watching too many Seinfeld's where Kramer is the "valet" to help people avoid parking tickets.

Default Sounds like the 20 is ransom, not a tip.

I just drive the 2500HD diesel if there's a valet.
