that were required, and it seemed like a legit reason for the tremendous bump in price who am I to argue. However, it seems to me to be the same in almost all major ways, even go as far as they changed the hood not the unit, I just can't see the justification of the "RS4 Premium"
The RS4 isn't double the price of the S4. I personally think they are making a error in judgement if this is the price it comes out at.

if it indeed will use a different manifold from the S4 kit (which has a larger target market and should sell more units), I assume they need to recoup the R&D on the new manifold, and if the volume is lower the manufacturing costs are greater.
It sounds like the additional cost beyond that is related to the intercooler reservoir and radiator, and the hood bits.
Tuning the RS4 is a bit more involved from what I understand, too.
