Default At $15k, 3 guys will order it.

The economics STILL don't make sense.

Who puts a $15K kit on a car worth $45K at present market values when a) the powertrain warranty is gone, b) it adds little (if anything) to the resale value, c) is unproven with respect to what happens to clutches, drive shaft, transaxles, head gaskets, pistons, rods, etc., d) no information as what is being done to the ECU on the car, fuel system, etc. to support boost.

Too pricey, too many variables, too little information...for now.

I've been down this path many times with other cars. I will never, ever let my car be a guinea pig again.

Keep in mind: adding a GReddy twin turbo kit to a G35 lists at about $8K retail.

I would say that any supercharger kit that does NOT go into motor's internals would need to be in that price range to entice buyers, based on my experience.

Now I'm sure VF WILL be publishing this information soon...and probably dyno numbers and reports back on reliability. Once this information comes in, it should make the mod far, far more tempting to many more RS4 owners.

That's my $0.02.
