Default What, No M3 kill stories yet!

I guess the post about the RS4 returned by a sports figure and Audi investigating has everyone uptight about overrevving the engine ?

Default I see maybe one M3 every 2-3 months.

...and they're usually going the opposite direction. To this day, I've still only seen 1 other B7 S4 on the road (not including cars at the dealership).

I did however lay waste to a new IS350 yesterday, if that makes you happy.

Default it's pretty well established that the M3 has no chance.

just watch the M3 vs. RS4 Fifth Gear episode...even the M3 CS has no chance, unless you count the drifting competition.

Default the last "real" matchup was with the E36 M3 (sedan). Then again, the timing was off by 2 yrs, as it

seems will always be the case. Until both companies come out w/a new model (both in sedan/coupe forms) at the same time (give/take few months), we will always get this "discrepancy" in head-ons competition.

Default Re: What, No M3 kill stories yet!

I got my RPMs up to 6600 last night (accidentally, of course!) and I worried all not that I had ruined my engine. I'm not racing anyone yet. :-)

Default no offense, but that's a lame excuse.

but then again, these 2 cars shouldn't even be compared in the first place....they have nothing in common, other than being built in Germany.
