one wonders what eBay is good for if they cannot catch these obvious scams before posting them. That is to say nothing about the more artful scam artists on eBay selling cars who make misrepresentations and then somehow disappear for 30 days after the sale. One would thing that eBay would screen for such problems. Caveat emptor!

Let me explain to you how this should work. The online escrow company
will contact you, give you their account for you to wire the money for
the car, money which they hold until you receive the car and inspect it.
After you inspect the car, if you decide to buy it, the escrow company
informs me to send you the car's papers, and once the deal is done they
send me the payment.
If you decide for any reason not to buy the car, they refund you your
money in 5 days tops, and inform you to send the car back, and the
shipping back will be paid by me.
