Default Left of the trunk above the small compartment...

If it's like my S4, you need to remove a lot of the trunk lining to get to it.

In this pic I have the compartment slightly open:

Correct, just flop the door open and pull out the receiver drawer.

Default Reggie - could you please explain

Are you suggesting that a Sirius receiver in an RS4 can be used for XM, or that having separate antennas in an RS4 improves the Sirius reception? Sorry, I probably just need to drink some more coffee.

Default I think he's saying that swapping the Sirius for an XM module is an improvement...

clearly, he's delusional

Default No - it was a joke - I meant that XM was better than Sirius

But performance wise - XM is better due to the geosynchronous orbits by their satellites and that they use less compression.

On the programming side - Sirius does not carry Bob Brinker (Financial Analysis guy)nor are their talk radio guys any that I follow and their playlists do not carry artists that I listen too

Default Got it, thanks. I've said it before that Sirius in the RS4 has a severely limited dynamic range.

...and sounds like crap. FM sounds more musical than Sat.

Default I guess it depends on where you are located. My Sirius sounds great on Long Island, NY...

The only issues I have is when I'm driving under trees, bridges etc. But, XM has that too. I also like that Sirius just cuts out when it is re-linking where XM sounds like a cell phone call going bad.

Default that hasn't been my experience.

I can listen to Sirius with my car parked in the garage. It doesn't even cut out when I'm in the basement parking lot of an 8-story hospital. There is one place in town where it cuts out consistently for about 1/4 of a mile...along the freeway next to an Air Force base. As soon as I pass it, it links right up again.
