I think he's talking about audible range....

as in 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz

Talking about dynamic range, not signal strength (reception)

Reggie mentioned that Sirius has an overly compressed source, which is one possible reason for poor dynamic range, i.e., the ability to accurately reproduce high and low frequencies and a wide soft-loud range which all effects musicality.

i'm too deaf to notice a difference anyway.

too many loud concerts in my lifetime.

besides, the only thing I listen to on Sirius is Howard Stern.

listening to it constantly it's hard to notice..but switching from a CD and back is very noticeable

Anyone know why I can cruise through a half-mile tunnel and not lose Satellite reception but as soon as I drive under a couple of weeping willow trees it cuts out? Please explain.
