R&T has some good tech info, and Automobile's writing is great. Both also have great photography (Automobile's is probably the better of the two).
C&D I only read simply because occasionally they have an interesting read about something like Ethanol, car crime, etc. Motor Trend has improved recently but is mostly kind of blah. Their new "super contrast" photos are getting old.

Can't see making any changes to that, as long as Peter Egan still writes for them.
Over the years I've subscribed to C&D, Automobile, European Car, Autoweek, and a few other short lived ones. Road and Track is the only keeper, with Autoweek still supplying the weekly dose of more current info.

I disagree, I think Automobile and MT suck...I check out Autoweek online for free, and I rate R&T a close second. I just don't like how C&D thinks Honda and BMW commit no evil.
