windsheild icon on display
there is an animated wiper/windsheild icon swiping back and forth, what does this mean, low fluid?
couldn't find what the icon means in the manual.. is there a icon list/description?
i went to the dealer the other day for a oil change, cost $140 bucks and u think they'd give me a little washer fluid? cheap or lazy..
i called dealer to ask what icon means and they couldn't tell me.. they said to bring it in for service.. i asked them why don't they check fluids like every other oil change place.. their answer was it's not part of oil change, only maintenance. is that true?

Re: Yah...oil change is an oil change..... full service is a full service.
huh? and what is that suppose to mean. getting your fluids checked has always been part of oil change in the auto service industry and it cost no where near $140 for an oil change.
i would of gladly paid extra for the damn gallon of washer fluid had they told me i was low.
must be an audi thing to only check fluids when you're due for service every 15k-20k miles rather than every 5k with oil change.
i have no problem adding or buying the washer fluid myself.. just expected more from audi dealer unlike $40 jiffy lube oil changes which gets you all fluids topped off, vacuum and windows cleaned.
took them an hour to dump oil out and pour 8 quarts in?
a simple check low fluids isn't asking for much. that's my two cents, and take it for what it's worth.

Well Audi isn't Jiffy Lube.
But I understand your expectations.
Dealing with audi and vw for many years the techs don't do anything the customer hasn't asked for up front.

That's another dealer thing.....
I've been in for an oil change and got a "free multi point inspection" and car wash, with a nice check sheet to keep
You might be ok with a Camry at jiffy, but $40 hardly gets you started with this car. Isn't that for 6qts of regular oil? 10qts of 5W40 is not that cheap.
