Default 18's vs 19's...ride quality and the bent wheel factor...

Who's riding 19's and are you happy about it? I've been running 18's on my A6, but am looking to move to an S4. Wondering about wheel/tire choices/options. Do 19's give a ride that is too harsh? And what about bent rims...will it get worse?

Default I'm happy with my 19's. Regardless of 18" or 19"...

You still have to be careful. Neither wheel has much room between you and a pothole. I can't say I noticed any difference in ride quality. The look of a 19" on the S4 is fantastic. I'm running the 19" RS4 wheel with Nitto 555"s.

Default I think this is a good analogy - but also need to consider the

cost and weight factors too.

Default I went with a 245/35 to soften up the ride of the 19's

You should probably think about the roads where you live as well.

Do you have a pic of the 19's on your S4?

Default Absolutely CrAzY about my achtuning RS4 replicas. 19x8. They ride great, and look even better!

Ride is very compliant given the tires that came with the package. I might move up in the tire area, but I can't imagine that much of a difference in the ride. The suspension on this car really makes a great difference. It handles the roads and bumps very well. did I mention that I love my wheels?!

Default They look awesome!

Do they fit without any mods or spacers? Are they easy to keep clean?

Default Yep...perfect fit. No spacers needed.

They are actually much easier to keep clean then the stock wheels. It's very easy to get in b/n the spokes and clean 'em. Thanks for the nice comment!

Default I think you win the prize for most pics of your car posted on Audiworld.

Not that I'm complaining. Nice pitures.
