Default When you say as fast do you mean 0-60 or 50-100? On the track? In dry or wet weather?

On paper the M3 will be faster on a track and 0-60. The S4 will be faster in bad weather and in gears 4/5/6 due to the monster torque.

Most times it comes down to the driver.

It depends, but by the most common measures, probably not.
