Default 2005 S4 Cab man trans with 65K km already...
Just wondering if anyone tekky is aware of nasty things I should get nailed down before the warranty expires @ 80K. God i love this car.... thx

Default rumor has it that the timing chain will go out at about 60-70k miles, dont know what that is in km
I would buy extended warranty if you plan on keeping the car

? Has anyone actually had a Timing Chain fail or even replaced ? I've heard of no failures

Default don't think anyone on the boards have reached that milage yet, but there is an 04
sitting at wicked motorsports here in los angeles with around 55k miles and is having the chain replaced as soon as the guy comes up with the money. think it costs 4-5k

hopefully its not common
