Poor Audi - they get criticized for the fin, redesign it and get criticized again! My boss has the previous BMW 740 with navigation and it has a cool double bee sting antenna. That I would have liked. I assume the satellite radio is the reason fopr the bulkiness of the shark fin.

Audi sales isn't that swift
In sales you always give your customers maximum flexibility when ordering, i.e., you should be able to order an S4 without the fin. BMW is smarter. If you don't order one of their packages, I think it's the premium package, you can order an M3 without a fin.
For those of you who like the fin, no offense intended. But I don't like the dam things, and I can't believe that it's impossible for me to order an S4 without one.

I'm working on a plastic cover to go over the shark fin that
looks like an actual shark fin. Removable and paintable. I'll post the prototype when finished. Should be good for a laugh!

I like it!
Compared to the whale on the '04's (A6, A4, S4) it's much less noticable and less intrusive, to my eye anyway. Pics have been posted before - go to any Audi dealer - they'll have '05s with the new fin.
