2nd day with S4...acceleration question...
I owned a 2000 S4 for 5 years (6 speed) and I just traded it for an '05. I'm excited, but it still hasnt sunk in yet because I so dearly loved my old one that it was hard to part with it.
Anyway, I was noticing something and I'm not sure if it's just too early to judge and of course I'm trying to baby it during break-in, but we all know that's hard to do. It seems as though the acceleration is not as smooth and consistant as I thought in comparison to my old one. In third gear (and a little in others), it almost kicks/hessitates a few times before it really wants to go. It sort of lags and I'm wondering if its just because I'm in lower RPM's for right now or if there's a throttle response problem with just my car. If you have any input on this subject, I'd appreciate it!! Thanks!
