Default 4.2 allroad problems, thought yall might be able to help...

Is this a Cam adjuster?

I bought the car and it started on my way home of course...

This noise is intermittent but occurs cold and at temperature. I have had missfire issues as well and have replaced the sparkplugs and coils, swapped injectors from one side to the other and still have the same misfires detected.

The misfires stay with the cylinders? You are referring to that intermittent clicking as the noise? Never heard anything like that..

Lean running usually is a vacuum leak or an intake leak..

Despite moving the injectors, swapping the four lefts with the four rights, I still had misfires at cylinders 1&3. I will continue to look for vacuum/intake leaks.
