Default A8 L W12 - damn!

went to dealer yesterday and they had black/amaretto W12 on the floor, not sold yet. what a beautiful car. amazing fit&finish and luxury. best interior i've seen. would love to see it in Atlas Gray.

the engine is actually 2 V6s linked side-by-side in a "W". what a beast. only 150 coming to states in 05, not doing an 06. now that's a flagship!

just had to share :-)

Default Where did you see that? There is one at Rockville Porsche-Audi in Maryland

with TV's in the head rests.

I fully agree with your assessment

Default update. went back and drove W12 :-) first car i've been nervous in for quite some time...

if u get a chance, drive this car. sales guy was cool and rode in the back so shadowFox could be up front. only had 66 miles, so i didn't WOT it. but needless to say, you could tell it was a 12 cyl.

the features and interior are amazing - black with amaretto. MMI/nav is supremely easy versus BMWs iDrive. dual DVDs for back passengers, perforated air-cooled seats. lotsa of cool stuff, no bling and that's a good thing. OEM wheels look great.

running out to play Powerball!

Default Damn, when I read this yesterday I was hoping you were talking about SAS,

was in there this morning, but no W12 on the floor.
Were you in the Gilbert area last Wednesday? Saw a beautiful RS6 going down Williams field, figured there can't be too many in the valley. I know its a long time ago, but I was out of town until last night. Also, thanks for the info on Jeff A. at SAS, had my car in there for some minor work, took good care of me, seems to be a good guy.
