My advice.....We all see a ton of folks like you asking us the same questions. In many cases, I feel that as long as the person knows what they are getting into with these cars, then...have fun. BUT in this particular case, I would run from this Nagaro Blue car. The whole thing is raising HUGE red flags, and with a car like this...even one red flag should be a sign to look elsewhere. Lets list the Red Flags out:
---hitting side of curb and trashing tie-rod and a whole lot more. (What else did this skillful driver manage to hit while owning the car?)
---There are gaps in the front grill to headlamps (means it was reinstalled half ***) Any half-*** work done on these cars will cost you $$$$$ later
TO ME THE BIGGEST RED FLAG:
---If the wreck occurred at 46 miles...the car now has 34k on it. The car has one tire that is not consistent. Was the tire replaced in the accident and these tires have 30k on them??? HOLY CRAP! If this is the case, the Quattro system has been dealing with different tires for 34k? That is not good at all.
---Plus, the guy took the banged up useless spare and placed it in the trunk? Are/is the new rim an Audi OEM or a replica??
---The car has only 34k on it but it will be out of all its warranties. You need to get an aftermkt warranty with this car. Would not even think about it without one.
I have said it before on this forum and I will say it again. There are owners on this forum with cars that have in excess of 130k and their cars are in far better shape than many I have seen for sale with 50k. Take this advice for what its worth, but if you were smart enough to come to this forum to ask for advice, I would hope you decide to stay away from this particular S4. Look around, there are so many out there.
P.s. I watched that video from the dealer and it creep ed me out. Plus, the dealer is an Audi/VW reseller and all they did was cut and paste the car review from MotorTrend or something written back in 2004 to help describe the car?? This whole thing seems fishy to me.

3/32? Is that actually in print somewhere official? My quattros have done fine over the last 10+ years. Especially on my '04 s4, I've ALWAYS only replaced 2 tires due to the fact that the fronts wear out rather quickly. Still running strong 150k+

It's been great. No issues at all. I've got about 41k on it now and have just had to do an oil change.
I think sparkplugs and new front tires are up in the short term, but am probably going to leave it stock. It is a blast to drive every day!

I recently had my car in the shop. 04 S4 Cabriolet. Spoke to the service manager and he never heard of anyone having that issue.
