accidently miss shifted and over-revved lastnight to about 7600-7800 consequences?

Default Get someone with a VAG COM and erase the over rev condition recorded in the ECU. Your warranty...

Will be voided if Audi sees it.

That's why the car has a rev limiter. To protect it from damage.
