Default I never much liked the sound of the raspy APR catbacks with the exception...

of the B5 S4 units they used to make before they updated those. I liked their quality though so I went with their downpipes. APR uses Billy Boat as their exclusive exhaust builder and in meeting with Billy in 2006 I can appreciate the craftmanship he puts into his units, it's just that sometimes their catbacks have a bit too much of a rasp to them for my liking. Add to that I was able to get the Milltek catback "at cost" the same as the APR unit so the price was similarly very cheap for either one.

Default i called labree myself and talked with owner (old guy) and he claimed...

he could do any converter 100/200cpsi, as requested. He swears by his product, however, **** happens. He seems like a decent guy, vented on the FI think bigtime too. Kind of a messed up story. I think Sia had a dp leak a while back but they did fix it if i remember correctly. Milltek appears to be the leader overall but i agree with you, they have a conservative sound.

Default Not a copy, original designer started own company. Here is LaBree's work

I've had both, I know.

Brent and son Labree's patch up work on "their" system vs the new FI on the right.

Customer service ftw.
Danny at FI hands down.

Default You're fairly new-why you haven't heard about other issues. In the end, any exhaust on this

car will fail in time. Motor runs too hot (including stock cats fyi)

It all comes down to customer service and your preferred sound. Stratmosphere/milltek products will have great CS, as well as FI. Don't know about the others.

Sia's pipes looked like a 12 year old mentally challenged kid welded them IIRC.

Default New was danny's work, used/"revamped" according to brent, was Labree.

Danny made my system back in 2004. Search the forum archives.

Brent took my money and many others on the gb, danny did the work.
