braking problems. I took it into dealer. They say pads and rotors need to be replaced. Not covered under warranty or Audi Advantage. They say this is an 'environmental' problem. Did a search and see that some people have been able to get dealer to replace pads and rotors. Checked out warranty and Audi Advantage and they only cover rotors and pads if you are under 25k miles or 2 years. I'm at 2 years and 40k miles.
Service Manager suggests continuing to use and hope that brake use will eventually clean rust off the rotors. Any other suggestions?

coverage. They are not covered. I called Audi customer service, they also confirmed they are not covered. I called the dealer that i bought the car from, the service manager said they used to do rotors and brakes after 25k but that Audi will not re-imburse them anymore. He said they would cover the pads but that I would have to pay for the rotors.

It can only be surface rust and there are not many spots on the rotor which will rub.
Pads are very easy to change also.
Post pics please also.
