Default Alarm question. can I set the alarm so that the motion

detector is not activated - so we can leave the dog in the car for a few minutes (windows cracked in shade, blah blah blah etc).

Default Setup on S4 is much better than on my A6. If a fly as much as farted in my A6, it would set off

the motion detector. I could not leave the moon roof open for fear that a slight breeze would activate the motion sensor. Too often I would let my dog in the car for a short time with windows open.If I forgot to disable the motion sensor, the dog would always set it off. This does not happen with the S4. I leave the dog in the car and it does not trip the motion sensor.( 40lb dog)

There is still the anti tow away sensor (which is the one I was referring to as the motion sensor earlier).

You will see that the switch that used to be for the interior sensor is now blank. It was a mid production change done in 2003.

Fly farting is uncommon in the U.S... **** cavity allows only solid product out. D

Default ok - so it is a tilt /tow sensor - not interior motion like if someone stuck thier hand in through a

part open window?

Interesting as mine was build early '04 and still has the interior sensors.

Identifiable by both the switch in door pocket and also the piezo up in the roof centre console (masked behind a black tissue like cloth).

Mine's a saloon, was it Avants only that went through the change ?
