I read somewhere on list that blue jeans are a no no on the silver? Could this be true? And if it is that's ridiculous.

When I clean my silver leather on my '01 with Leatherique the cleaning rag gets pretty blue only on my drivers seat and I wear blue jeans most all the time. The other seats I get the usual grey dirt. So I would not be surprised if some of the blue dye from the blue jeans leaches onto the alcantara also. Sweaty butts being what they are....

it is not visible with eyes but when you clean your leather you will know
and I think blue jeans will dye the silver alcantara pretty sure

I had an '01 S4 with Onyx/Silver Alcantara seats. I wore blue jeans in those seats *many* times. Never any sign of any problem.

Got silver nappa leather seat(S3) and as the car was new, once my girlfriend sat with new blue jeans, and the blue went on the seat!!!!!!!!!!! Had to wash it, not easy to do it. Unable to tell why, heat of seat? wet jeans? new jeans not already washed!?
Nobody gave me an answer.

well all my jeans are clean and washed...but the problem is jeans still dye on the seating surface
