Alcantera versus silk nappa

Still in the new car purchase phase... can someone explain to me the difference between the two. The one I test drove had the Alcantera (( i think). Is that with the insert that you can "pull" out for taller drivers?

The part of the seat you're referring to is not the so-called insert per se, but an extendable portion of the seat to accommodate taller drivers or those with longer legs. That portion would be made from the Alcantara material however.
I have it on my S4 and it's great. It's not slippery like the smoother napa leather. Just imagine smoothe and slippery leather versus a suede type materials and there you have it. Keep in mind the Alcantara seats are a combination of the Alcantara and napa leather though. It's 2-tone. Here's a pic of mine.
