I have been reading the RS4 conjecture/speculation about the price, performance, price-performance, horspower per dollors spent, and increase in power versus increase in price performance index delta or what ever calculation I see guys making their purchase decisions based on. All I can say is this, you cant look at a high performance european car and expect a bargain and there is no formula to figure out if a high priced high performing car is worth it to you individually.
High performance cars and especially high performing european cars will always be some what esoteric. Corvettes and Porshes will always have mass appeal but limited production high-powered sedans like the S4 RS4 C55AMG etc are completely different annimals. You also have to know what you want if your comparing a car like the RS4 to a car of comparable price but a completely different mission. I admit you have to be a little crazy to spend nearly 70k on a car most people will see as just another A4. To that I say who cares what that simpleton thinks. For me the RS4 is a no brainer, I was contemplating the S4/S4cab/A64.2 with always knowing in the back of my mind that the RS4 is due to come out. Now i'll just wait my year-18months and I know I won't be dissapointed. I have been dealing with Audi for nearly 5 years now and I have never been let down with their offerings. The RS6 was just what it was billed as, the ultimate A6 and the RS4 will be the ultimate A4 period.

The Z06 is sure to be a great ***** out perfomance car damn-near supercar. How can you say no to a 7.0 litre smallblock, even with the cheap interior and rental car grade plastics the car is amazing. If I lived in the south I would definately consider it but to drive a Z06 in NYC. I have been taught to swereve around potholes since I started driving but even I am not that good. Where I live with the roads I travel on Z06 is not an option.
