Did they manage to fix your headlight flickering? What did they do or replace? I'm having the same problem with my left side headlight. Two service visits and no cure yet. It does it only when I cold start the car and after 5 mins of driving it goes away. Not that big of a problem but a nuisance.

Headlights still not fixed yet, but I already made a third appointment to have them repaired/replaced. I'm going to be the squeaky wheel...

My third appointment is tomorrow. It's difficult to show the flickering to them, and if they can't see the problem, they usually have no clue what to do...

The dealership has told me that at $240 each, AoA makes the dealer make a strong case before they'll authorize warrantee replacement for HID bulbs. I suspect 3 visits to the same dealer for the same problem helps them do that. Of course, the issue could also be the ballasts and/or wiring, but the same principle applies.

Also, the dealers don't want you leaving negative feedback to the AoA survey people that often call you after repairs to rate the dealer.

Both my headlight assemblies have already been replaced. This includes new bulbs and ignitors (don't know if that is the correct english term). They were worth about $800 each - under warranty, of course. Didn't help. Might be some loose connection or maybe the Xenon control unit. Nobody knows. We'll see what happens this time.

Default Update: problem fixed today

It turned out my headlight bulbs hadn't been replaced during the installation of new headlight assemblies a week ago. New bulbs were installed today and this should fix the flickering problem. All cars experiencing from this flickering will get new bulbs, according to Audi Finland. It seems I'm not the only one here with this problem.

No problem! I wonder if this is going to be an expensive problem for Audi. Maybe it affects all B7 A4/S4/RS4s with Xenons, it's certainly not limited to S4s. You have quite a bit of miles on the odometer just like I do. This problem might get bigger as cars get older and acquire more miles.
