Default All Season Tires Suggestion

Well, my car is only 2 months old but have started thinking about what my next ties would be once these are worn out. I live in Northern VA and get a few light snowfalls (2-3 niches) in winter. I am looking at replacing the current tires will all season tires that do not compromise handling and still enables me to take the car on the road in light snow or low temperature.

Default Eugenius ... what are your plans for snow tires?

I'm not sure which way to go myself. It would be great to get an all season that was good enough for snow... but maybe we're better off with separate summer and winter tires.

Default Won't find an all season that doesn't give up performance.

There are some great all seasons out there, but if you want top performance, you need to consider using dedicated winter and summer tires. You won't regret that.

Default Go to Tirerack and look at their survey for Ultra-high performance A/S tires.

Default I have Conti Extreme Contact Sport on my A6. They are available in sizes to fit S4

and they are only $136 per tire from Tire Rack. I was able to get NTB in Maryland to match that price. I would also consider Pirelli PZero Nero M&amp;S they are $142. The Michelins are great tires (my wife had them on her Lexus GS)but the price is up there, about an extra $90 per tire.

The Conti's grip very well in dry and wet and they are "round".

Default I had separate snow tires on the B5 for three years.

But it was a hassle swapping them (I didn't have dedicated snow rims). This year my plan is to get a set of all-season tires, probably the P Zero Nero M&amp;S, and just leave them on.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&amp;url=%2Ftires%2Ftires.jsp%3FtireMak e%3DPirelli%26amp%3BtireModel%3DPZero%2BNero%2BM%2 526S%26amp%3BvehicleSearch%3Dtrue%26amp%3Bpartnum% 3D34WR80NMS%26amp%3BfromCompare1%3Dyes">http://www.tirerack
