Have searched forums still trying to absorb it all but it looks like either...
Pilot sport AS
Nokian WR (in 225/40; will that really work ok/is it worth it)
Contiextreme
Winter:
Blizzack
One car, no garage, no storage, in VT but city plows well. Only travel to nyc occasionally and possibly heading to FL so winters could immediately become obsolete.

Agredd: Pilot Sport A/Z or P-Zero Nero M+S. I just put the Pilot's on my S4, and they're great. No deterioration in performance vs. the stock Dunlop Sport 01s. The P-Zero M+S are supposed to be good, but no one seems to have them in stock. My experience with tires tends to be that you get what you pay for, though there's no doubt that the Michelin's are expensive.

Much better than I thought. Not as good as a dedicated winter tire but they handled MUCH better in the dry & wet. I live in Utah and the roads are plowed pretty frequently and most it is slushsy. It did tackle some pretty nasty roads without a problem. They were new treads just before winter.

...warmer climate.
Otherwise, the previous suggestions are good, and I would add Continental ContiExtremeContacts to the list, which are better in the snow and ice than the Pirelli PZero M&S as well as the Pilot Sport A/S

seems like some people have put on 225/40 some others have commented that it's no best idea, could be load problems, etc.
I'm a novice have no clue.
thnx for input.
