Default It's a matter of definition.

To me, aggressive driving means driving in a way that causes obvious discomfort to other people on the road, including cutting in when they clearly don't want you to cut in, extensively weaving through traffic for the sake of weaving, going substantially over the limit or hard braking on street lights without any particular need, etc. Incidentally this sort of driving is associated with above average brakes usage, hence the comment I made in the first place.

Default Haha wow, those guys aren't too bright...m...

Pad sensors are ONLY in the front, and not in the rear (at all). And yes, in my experience (two B6 A4's, B6 S4 front brakes on this car now fwiw), the rear pads/rotors wear out quicker than the fronts (by ~30k miles). I know people who drive aggressively and have gotten 70k out of the front rotors (pads no); they are pretty meaty. The sticking pads could be from lack of a proper bedding in procedure. Also, the parking brake light (i.e., the word "brake" flashes) means that you are low on fluid, and being low on fluid has nothing to do with needing brake replacements. Two totally unrelated things. However, depedning on the year of the car, its not a bad idea to have the fluid flushed every 2 years (so if you're a 2005/2006, you should have the fluid flushed this year).

I was talking to Charliemike71 and agreeing with Kenny. Your questions have already been answered.

Default Take your car to another dealer, obviously your current one is not providing competent service

I drive 20 miles out of my way to service my car, even though there's another local dealer less than one mile away for this very reason..

Default Yep I have this experience also...The rears actually do wear out quicker than the front

This was the case on my older B5 and also on our B6 Avant...

But sensors are just on the front...

Sounds like van-s4-02 needs to go to a different dealer, at least one that can correctly replace rotors and pads...

I'm sure the rotors were fine, but most dealers will always try to make money on that one...

Make sure to get new fresh brake fluid...
