Hello everyone... OK, here is my situation:
I added a Stasis CB exhaust to my B7 S4. It does sound great under load and does not sound too loud when cruising on the freeway, but betwee 1500-2500 RPM's, is really drones and is very loud inside the cabin. I know is a relatively small range and is very low in the powerband but driving around town, it is there at every stop sign. Every light. It is starting to make me regret the purchase a bit...
Is there anyting I can do to alleviate this? (Other than going back to stock.) Can I add resonators? Do all other exhaust sytems have the same characteristics? APR? AWE? Milltek?
Thanks!

Seriously, most if not all of the exhausts out there generate some harmonics at that rpm range in higher gears.
My resonated Labree CB has it a bit between 1700 and 2000 only in 4th gear.
When I drive friends places the wives say wtf and the guys say it sounds amazing.
My wife gives me "the look" so I avoid that range with her in the car![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
She knows I can make it NOT happen.
You will adjust your driving style in a short amount of time.
If you think about it, that's not exactly the rpm range or gear selection that optimizes our driveline..mash that throttle a bit and smile.
As long as it is not hitting metal or buzzy sounding I'd say it's normal for this engine.
